Kerry Hawkins - Chair
Mr. Kerry Hawkins is Chair of the founding CentrePort Canada Board of Directors, a nominee of the Business Council of Manitoba. In addition to his role at CentrePort, Mr. Hawkins is a Director of the Winnipeg Airports Authority, TransCanada Corporation, Prince Rupert Port Authority, National Leasing Group and Manitoba Blue Cross.
Arthur Mauro - Chair
Dr. Arthur Mauro, O.C., O.M., Q.C., KSG, LL.D., D.Comm., is Vice-Chair of the founding CentrePort Canada Board of Directors. He was appointed to the Board in December 2008, a nominee of the City of Winnipeg. Currently, Dr. Mauro also serves as Chair of the Winnipeg Airports Authority Board of Directors.
Ryan Craig - Director
Ryan Craig has spent over a decade providing counsel to senior government leaders on matters of public policy in the Governments of Manitoba and Ontario and at the City of Winnipeg. He served as a senior advisor and chief of staff to five provincial cabinet ministers in portfolios including labour, finance, urban affairs, education and culture & citizenship and was director of communications for then Premier of Ontario, Mike Harris. His final three years in public service were spent as chief of staff and director of economic development for Winnipeg Mayor Sam Katz.
David Fung - Director
Dr. Fung is the Chairman and CEO of the ACDEG Group of companies. He has partnerships in forest products, biomass energy, chemicals, electrical power cogeneration, agric-foods, marine equipment, OEM parts manufacturing and packaging wastes recycling in North America, Europe and Asia. He obtained his Bachelor, Master and Doctorate degrees in chemical engineering from McGill University in Montreal and completed the senior business executive program at Queens University in Kingston, Ontario.
Joan Hardy - Director
Joan Hardy is Assistant Vice-President - Transportation, Richardson International. In this role, Joan is responsible for managing rail, marine and truck transportation and related logistics activities system-wide for Richardson International, the second largest grain handling company in Canada.
Eugene Kostyra - Director
Mr. Kostyra concluded employment as the Secretary to the Community and Economic Development Committee of Cabinet (CEDC), Government of Manitoba, where he worked on major community and economic initiatives from January 2000 to September 2006. He reported to Premier Gary Doer and Cabinet as well he worked closely with line departments and the community to coordinate major government initiatives.
Chris Lorenc - Director
A lawyer by background, Chris Lorenc has been President of the Manitoba Heavy Construction Association since 1991. He graduated from the University of Manitoba with Bachelor of Arts and Law degrees in 1976 and practiced law until 1991.
He served on Winnipegs City Council from 1983 until he retired in 1992. He chaired a number of Councils Standing Committees and was a member of the Executive Policy Committee (EPC).
Tom Payne Jr. - Director
Together with his father, Tom co-founded Payne Transportation in June of 2000. Payne Transportation is located in a newly constructed, 45,000 sq ft, modern facility situated in Rosser, Manitoba and employs over 100 employees and 150 owner-operators.

Active member of the Business Council of Manitoba (1997 to present).

Maureen Prendiville - Director
Maureen is President and CEO of Prendiville Industries, a well integrated, resource-based company that manufactures a wide range of wood products for the building, mining and construction industries. The company has been operating for over 50 years with divisions in Manitoba and Ontario.
Barry Rempel - Director
Barry Rempel was appointed President & CEO of Winnipeg Airports Authority Inc. (WAA) in April, 2002.
Barrys leadership has resulted in strong financial performance and a renewed commitment to customer and community service by the corporation. The Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport is well-positioned for its airport redevelopment program, encompassing construction of a new airport terminal and future airport campus development.

Don Streuber - Director
Don Streuber is the President and CEO of Bison Transport Inc an award winning truckload transportation provider throughout Canada and the United States. Don is a Chartered Accountant and has a Bachelor of Commerce, with honors in finance, from the University of Manitoba.
Robert Ziegler - Director
Mr. Ziegler is President and Chief Executive Officer of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local No. 832, which is the largest private sector union in Manitoba representing 15,000 members, and is a Vice-President of the UFCW Canadian Council.
He is chairperson of the Manitoba Pension Commission as well as Secretary-Treasurer of the Manitoba Federation of Labour.
Dr. David Barnard - President and Vice-Chancellor
Dr. David Barnard was appointed 11th President and Vice-Chancellor of the
University of Manitoba effective July 1, 2008.
Dr. Barnard brings to this position a distinguished career as an academic
administrator including serving as the President and Vice-Chancellor of the
University of Regina from 1998 to 2005.
